Bookings Terms & Conditions

Your booking is not reserved until payment has been received (deposit or full amount). All courses require full payment 7 days before the course start unless otherwise agreed. Payment is accepted via the online shop or bank transfer.

You may cancel your antenatal course booking at any time by letting me know of the cancellation by email.

If you cancel more than six weeks before the start of the Course then you will receive a full refund, less £20 to cover administration costs.

If you cancel between four and six weeks before the start of the antenatal course I will refund 50% of the cost.

If you cancel less than four weeks before the start of the course then no refund will be given. However, under exceptional circumstances, I can offer a refund at any point up until the course begins. This is at my discretion.

After you have attended the first class, no refunds will be offered.

BabyBien requires a minimum number of participants to run group courses. If I have not reached this number, BabyBien reserves the right to cancel the course. A full refund will be given in these circumstances.

Group courses: Your booking is for the course dates specified only. Requests to move to another course will be accommodated where possible, but not guaranteed. No requests to move course dates will be accepted within 2 weeks of the course start date.

You may cancel your baby massage course booking at any time by letting me know of the cancellation by email. 

If you cancel more than four weeks before the start of the Course then you will receive a full refund, less £5 to cover administration costs.

If you cancel less than four weeks before the start of the course then you will be offered a 50% refund. 

However, under exceptional circumstances, I can offer a full refund at any point up until the course begins.

After the course has started, no refunds will be offered.

No refunds will be offered for missed classes. If there is availability on a group course where you can attend a class to catch up then you may be offered a place, but this is it BabyBien's discretion and not guaranteed.

The course cost is for one adult and one baby. Please contact Kate to discuss adding any additional babies or adults to your booking. I will try and accommodate your requests but this can not be guaranteed and will depend on space available.

Private group courses: require a minimum of 4 attendees to book. The course price covers a course of 5 sessions (in total, as a group). I will be as flexible as possible if there is a need to change dates or times but this must be agreed for your group and is dependent on availability. No refunds will be given for missed classes but you are welcome to offer your place to someone else if you're unable to attend for any reason.

PAYG and special sessions: Your booking is for the specified date only. No refunds will be offered for missed classes. If you are unable to attend you can offer your place to someone else (please make sure you notify Kate of any changes to the person attending).

Unforeseen Circumstances

If for any reason I need to reschedule a session you will be given as much notice as possible. In the unlikely event that the course venue needs to be altered, a new venue will be located within 1 mile of the original. In these circumstances no refund will be offered.

Under exceptional circumstances, I may need to cancel your booking. If I do I will always try to offer you a suitable alternative. If you choose not to accept this, you will be offered a full refund.

All BabyBien courses are taught by Kate a highly qualified and experienced hypnobirthing, baby massage & parenting teacher. Kate will give general educational advice about pregnancy and childbirth. Individual particular advice on your own current pregnancy and wellbeing cannot be given under any circumstances and clients must take queries about their own personal health or pregnancy to their Community Midwife, GP, Obstetrician or other appropriate health professional.

All courses have been designed to be up to date and factually correct at the time of teaching and to represent the current accepted professional standards with regard to general maternity advice.

BabyBien cannot accept responsibility or liability for any loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising out of or resulting from attending a class. You are particularly advised to take care of all personal property and possessions.

BabyBien Courses have been designed as a supplement to the information, advice and general instruction offered by the local NHS Trust. All course material provided is for general information purposes only and should not under any circumstances be construed in any way as being particular individual medical advice or instruction.

BabyBien reserves the right to decline any application to attend any of its classes.

If you, or your partner, feel unwell whilst in attendance at the sessions you should immediately seek the advice of your midwife, GP or other appropriate health professional.

BabyBien respects your right to privacy and will protect the general information that you have provided as part of your application to attend any BabyBien courses. I will not share your information with 3rd parties. I will protect your data from misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration to the best of my ability.

When booking a class with BabyBien, you will be subscribed to my mailing list. You may unsubscribe from this at any time.

Photos from classes will only be used where permission has been gained from you (you will be given the option to accept or decline permission in the pre-course questionnaire). Where permission has been given, photos may be used on the website, BabyBien social media channels and promotional materials.
